Throw away the interview script for product design sessions

Interview scripts are a legacy artifact from usability tests. Usability analysts use scripts because they want to make sure they hit all the points that need to be tested. They follow a script to ensure that the results are quantitative and can give an objective view on how well a product has been designed and  executed. Product managers looking to test their point of view, especially during the product design phase, don’t need to be scientific. The goal of product managers is to validate their hypothesis and test their assumptions. This can’t be done using a script.
